Foundation Equine provides emergency coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for our regular clients. A regular client is defined as a client who has had veterinary work of a non-emergency nature done by our practice within the last twelve months.
Providing emergency coverage, even for our routine clients, can be difficult and stressful due to disruptions in schedules for our regular clients and the off-hour requirements of our veterinarians. Therefore, it is necessary to charge a non-client emergency surcharge.
